About the event
27 years ago, Harvard Business School professor Clayton Christensen introduced the concept of disruptive innovation. He distinguished between sustaining technologies, which incrementally improve existing products, and disruptive technologies, which create new markets and value networks. Christensen's framework provided an explanatory model for the rise of waves of innovation in Silicon Valley.
The term "disruption" has since become a buzzword in entrepreneurial circles. With the emergence of generative AI, can the framework of disruptive innovation help us predict the future? Is Google facing the danger of disruption from Perplexity? Can Microsoft find innovator's solutions with Open AI? These are the kinds of questions we'll be exploring at the upcoming Product Hub event on June 14th at 7:30pm. Join us as we dive into the implications of disruptive innovation in the age of generative AI. RSVP now to secure your spot.
